You have probably noticed that I haven’t been writing daily for the last few days. My volunteer work for AARP and my daily life have kept me very busy.
When I retired I thought I would have loads of time, and compared to my working years that is true. However, I seem to manage to fill the days with volunteer work, writing in my journal, housework, and all the daily chores of living alone. It’s not terrible, it just is.
Now I have joined a fitness center near me to start my exercise program. That will take 3 hours a week, plus I walk for thirty minutes every day. Becoming more fit is a real goal. I want to stay healthy into my 80s and 90s.
Did the world stop today? Am I in a parallel universe? I just remembered that the southern preacher moved the end of the world from the spring to today. Wonder what his next date will be? I feel like my world is still here. What about you?
One part of my world has closed its door to me. Facebook. All of a sudden last week, I can’t open my Facebook page. I am really frustrated with this turn of events and can’t seem to find a solution. Any ideas?
On with our day. Until tomorrow…
