AARP has been running a campaign over the last few months to find out what YOU think about Social Security and Medicare. If you haven’t given your opinion yet you can go to www.earnedasay.com and answer a few questions. AARP is listening. They want to hear from you, whether you are a member or not.

“When my wife died, our income was suddenly cut in half. I was able to receive Social Security survivor benefits, which helped me to raise my two sons.” —Bend, OR
“These benefits are all that most people have. Without them people would struggle more than they do now. Social Security is all I have for a fixed income. If they reduce it and prices go up I will really have a hard time just surviving.” — Portland, OR
